Think you know all there is to know about disputes? Chargebacks remain one of the most persistent challenges for merchants, yet the underlying details of non-fraud disputes are often misunderstood. In this session, Walmart will team up with Chargeback Gurus and CMSPI to peel back the layers of chargeback data and reason codes.
Drawing on real-world case studies, including “impossible” disputes such as "goods not as described" and "goods not received" for in-store and fuel purchases, we’ll highlight how examining chargeback data more deeply can uncover surprising patterns. Together, we’ll explore what these findings mean for merchants and how we can work together with issuers and networks to improve the dispute process.
