Use of Consumer Authentication in eCommerce: 2016 Survey Results
The third annual Consumer Authentication Survey focused on the industry use, awareness, and perception of consumer authentication, which is also known as 3D Secure or 3DS. The survey looked at who is using 3DS, how it is used, and how it is reducing chargebacks. Merchants are increasingly using selective presentment, which is mitigating impacts on sales conversion and customer experience. A preview of the upcoming 3DS 2.0 specification is also included.
