2015 MRC Global Fraud Survey
The MRC, in conjunction with Edgar, Dunn & Company, conducted its annual Global Fraud Survey to provide MRC members with an overview of how different businesses around the world manage online fraud and risk. In total, 165 merchants responded to the survey, and 12 merchants across North America and Europe participated in in-depth interviews with Edgar, Dunn & Company. Survey results showed four key areas emerging as trends: the acceleration in cross-border commerce, the rise of mCommerce, a greater focus on payments fraud by organized crime, and the growing rate of large-scale data breaches.
