Fraud is not a solo act anymore. We are in a world where it's a war of clones. Today's attackers can deploy armies of fake identities, bots, and synthetic personas, all operating at an industrial scale, working in swarms and adapting in real time. With access to vast reserves of stolen data, fraud-as-a-service ecosystems, and real-time knowledge sharing (fraud guides, best practices, and attack templates), the threat landscape has evolved beyond human-led schemes.

In this session, we’ll explore how AI (including autonomous agents) is reshaping fraud, from hyper-scaled social engineering to self-improving fraud campaigns. We’ll also examine how businesses are fighting back with AI-enhanced defense systems, real-world case studies of these “clone wars” already in play, and actionable strategies to prepare for the next generation of threats.

Key Takeaways:

  • How fraudsters use AI to industrialize attacks
  • The role of real-time knowledge-sharing and fraud-as-a-service in scaling threats
  • How businesses are countering with AI-driven defense mechanisms
  • Tactical strategies to future-proof against AI-augmented fraud
