Agentic AI is about to redefine commerce. Digital agents will transact for consumers in real time, with almost no friction. At the center of this shift is a new collection of frameworks that enable interoperability and trust between AI agents and merchant systems. These range from Model Context Protocol (MCP) for tool access, Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) or Agents Payment Protocol (AP2) for commerce, A2A for coordination, x402 for value transfer, ANP for discovery, and more. Experts from Adobe, Block, Microblink, and PlayStation will explore early use cases, adoption challenges, and the strategic steps merchants must take today to prepare for agent-driven transactions. For leaders in the process of building agentic commerce operations, this session will explain the mechanisms of these interoperable frameworks and the implications for engineering and risk teams alike.
