Since it is impossible for merchants to prevent 100% of fraud without unacceptably high levels of false declines, online retailers are forced to tolerate certain thresholds of losses due to chargebacks and cancelled transactions. This presentation looks at shortcomings with established fraud prevention strategies and argues that flipping the script is needed to truly raise the bar. Three recommended approaches are laid out as part of the deck.
