Certification Path

This program is designed to accommodate professionals with various backgrounds via several Eligibility Pathways. These pathways use a combination of diverse professional qualifications.

Create an account in the MRC Certification Portal to access the application. The exam fee is paid upon submission of the application form. The exam fee is US$500 for MRC members and US$700 for non-members. If, after the application review, it is determined that the applicant does not meet the eligibility requirements, the exam fee will be refunded, minus a US$150 administrative fee. Candidates will have a three-month window to take the exam, starting from the application approval date.

Once the application has been processed and the eligibility requirements verified, which may take up to 10 business days, participants will be emailed about their application approval status. For a limited time, receive a free CPFPP Study Guide with your paid application!

The certification exam will cover the four distinct domains of payments and fraud prevention: Performance Management, Operational Management, Provider Management, and Features/Enhancements.
