While the Strong Customer Authentication requirements in the Payment Services Directive have the potential to mitigate fraud, SCA will adversely impact conversion if the payments ecosystem is not prepared. This presentation highlights those risks, then delves into an authentication standard known as FIDO, which is designed to supplant password-only logins with secure, fast login experiences both on websites and in apps.
