Most online retailers spend considerable resources designing a well-considered customer journey for legitimate users to ensure a high degree of conversion and, therefore, strong sales. While in the process of making the journey as easy as possible for good customers, companies may unwittingly be enabling bad actors to profit as well by helping fraudsters decipher what they have done wrong and where they need to improve their behavior. This presentation looks at the concept of designing and implementing a customer journey for fraudsters, including challenges of creating such a journey along with suggestions and real-life examples.
