Alasdair Rambaud and Ran Wasserman -- SecuredTouch

Presentation

Behavioral biometrics may be defined as a way to extract insights from a user's device, thereby giving companies an effective way of separating legitimate activity from nefarious actions. This presentation provides an overview as to what behavioral biometrics are and why ascertaining user intent can help businesses discover fraud. Typical journeys for valid customers and fraudsters are shown next, followed by examples of patterns which can be used to classify behavior. The slides conclude with a brief look at other potential use cases for behavioral biometrics in mitigating risk.
