No Merchant is an Island: Collaborating to Eliminate Organized Fraud
As commerce is increasingly mobile, cross-channel, and cross-border, companies are under greater pressure to process purchases quickly while simultaneously offering a positive shopping experience for legitimate users and preventing bad actors from transacting. One way of meeting these demands is through a consortium, and another is a layered approach. Both are highlighted in this presentation, along with the concept of anomaly detection, in an effort to help online retailers reduce fraud and customer friction in parallel.
