The rise of eCommerce over the past decade has driven a 33% increase in the return rate of overall retail sales. With returns on the rise, it is estimated that by 2022, retailers can expect 13 billion units worth $573 billion to be returned annually – the challenge being that this number includes both legitimate returns and fraudulent ones.
