Despite continued growth in eCommerce, a significant gap remains between the authorization rate for card-present transactions versus card-not-present transactions. Here CyberSource examines eCommerce retail and fraud landscapes, then shares recent data on order reject rates and decline rates. Fraud management tools are highlighted next, with insights on key performance indicators and manual review included. The Home Depot then summarizes how they tackled a high false positive rate and in the process converted more orders while reducing chargebacks and rejected transactions.
